White Sox Claim P Freddy Dolsi Off Waivers from Tigers
Small move, but the White Sox have claimed soon-to-be 27-year-old right-hander Freddy Dolsi off waivers from the Detroit Tigers. In 48 major league games (2008-2009), Dolsi has pitched 58.1 innings with a 3.55 ERA. Opponents batted .275 against him (.310 last season), and he's both walked and struckout 32 guys. He has been added to the 40-man roster.

This is a "why not" sort of move. They must see something in him they like or think they can adjust.
The 40 man is filled, but if they want to make another acquisition there's a couple guys who could easily be outrighted.
