You must purchase a beverage to receive your choice of croissant, muffin, bagel, bread, pound cake, scone, roll, doughnut, coffee cake, morning bun, or cheese danish. While supplies last. It's good at all participating Starbucks, except in Hawaii (sorry) or at Barnes & Noble.
There is one catch: after buying that pricey cup of coffee, you have to promise me you won't dump any out. Promise. No coffee wasting. :)

I have desperately been trying to cut back on my chai habit at Starbucks for obvious reasons (can I really afford $4.50 for a stinking drink) but I can never recreate the experience at home. I have tried EVERY brand of chai I can find and it never tastes the same. I think short of buying an expensive expresso machine with a frother (probably not made in USA...lol) I will never be able to make that foamy milk. At any rate, Monday is my regular splurge day at Starbucks but a free pastry, maybe I'll have to splurge again!!"
