Kevin Alejandro bitten by 'True Blood'

Lafayette Reynolds is getting a boyfriend on HBO's "True Blood."

Kevin Alejandro and Nelsan Ellis will be together, and no doubt shirtless, in S3 of "True Blood."

Kevin Alejandro of "Southland," "Weeds" and "Ugly Betty" fame has been tapped by creator Alan Ball to play Jesus, an orderly who helps care for Ruby Jean Reynolds (Alfre Woodard), the mother of Harvey native Nelsan Ellis' Lafayette.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Alejandro will appear in just about every episode of Season 3, which is set to begin this summer.

Alejandro and Ellis? I'm thinking that's a pretty hot pairing. What do you think?

And don't worry all you "Southland" fans, Alejandro's schedule will work so that he can return as Detective Nate Moretta, the report said. The former NBC series debuts Jan. 12 on TNT, but the cable channel will look at ratings before deciding whether to go back into production.
