George Clooney, Condoleeza Rice and Michael Strahan.

That's comic Wanda Sykes' dream lineup--of living guests--for her new talk show.

"I bet you Clooney will loosen her up, huh? Get us some drinks and Conde, oh boy," Sykes joked, adding about Strahan, "She likes the football player."

Sykes' named Moms Mabley, George Carlin and Richard Pryor--three comedy influences--as her first dream lineup when talking with reporters this week to promote "The Wanda Sykes Show" debuting at 10 p.m. Saturday on Fox.

Her first guests are Mary Lynn Rajskub ("24"), Daryl "Chill" Mitchell (Strahan's "Brothers" co-star) and Phil Keoghan ("The Amazing Race"). It was taped on Friday.

The one person she'd ask on the show just so she could skewer him: Conservative talk show host Glenn Beck. Or maybe not.

"I would say Glenn Beck, but to me, interviewing Glenn Beck would be like interviewing Forrest Gump," she said. "They're not even real people."

Sykes plans to offer "a little bit of everything" on the show, including a topical monologue, a co-host in Keith Robinson, a panel discussion with her guests, pre-filmed bits and sometimes even live performances.

"My mandate is, 'Hey, let's be funny, and most importantly, let's be relevant," she said, including talking about her personal life and current events.

We might get a taste of that on Saturday after the recent vote in Maine over gay rights. Sykes, a lesbian, told reporters she was disappointed.

"It's just sad when someone's civil rights can be put up to a vote. That just should never happen," she said. "I believe that eventually this is going to get to the highest court and they're going to have to determine that the majority cannot vote to take away a minority's civil rights."

But don't think the show will get to serious. Sykes plans to have a few drinks with her guests on the set, during the show.

"I'm not going to work this hard and not be able to drink on one of my shows ... Hopefully, you guys will feel like you're hanging out at my spot and sitting there with me and my friends," she said. "I will probably start out with a little of vodka and club soda. If you spill it, you won't have a problem with the wardrobe."
