Three more shows have run out of time to attract viewers. Fox canceled Joss Whedon's "Dollhouse," while ABC axed "Eastwick" and "Hank."

"Dollhouse" will end after its current 13-episode order, with its series finale scheduled to air Jan. 22. The show starred Eliza Dushku as a "Doll," a person who was implanted with a different personality for each mission she is sent on. Fox surprised fans by renewing the show for a second season, but then moved it to Friday nights when very few people watch TV.

Whedon posted a message on whedonesque.com, saying that he is proud of the show and his co-workers. "I'm grateful that we got to put it on, and then come back and put it on again," he wrote.

Over at ABC, "Eastwick" won't be renewed beyond its first 13 episodes. The show, based on the John Updike novel "The Witches of Eastwick," starred Rebecca Romijn, Lindsay Price and Jaime Ray Newman as the witches.

ABC also canceled Kelsey Grammer's "Hank" with no plans to air the remaining episodes. The network did order five more episodes of Christian Slater's drama "The Forgotten."

The CW network, which had the first canceled show of the fall in "Beautiful Life," announced that it will begin airing the drama "Life UneXpected" in January. The show, about a teen foster child who hunts down her parents so she can become an emancipated minor, will air at 8 p.m. Mondays beginning Jan. 18. Beginning March 8, it moves to 7 p.m. Mondays.

Dollhouse i never watched because I didnt like the plot, Eastwick I watched and really didnt care for. As for Hank I am really sad for Kelsey. It was a great comedy but I felt it was ok and could have lasted a for a few years, its def. better than Cougar town. Lats week Hank had a thanksgiving episode and I really felt like it was gaining some momentum. I really liked Back to you which fox never gave a chance. I fear the worse for my favorite comedy show Til death. Fox emailed me and said it will be back on Dec 25th for 2 hours of brand new episoded and after than January 10th it will be on Sundays before animation domination. Fox is the worse when it comes to handling comedy shows. I feel bad for good guys like Kelsey and Brad as they deserve better from the major networks. Comdedy shows are a dying breed and one day people will feel my pain when they notice that TV is just crap like dancing with the stars, who wants to marry a midget, american crap idol, etc etc.

Still good comedy on TV. NBC's Thursday night line-up. I like Cougar Town and Mod Family. And Big Bang Theory on CBS

Curt yes true however nothing like comedy in the 90s. I am upset you didnt mention In the middle. You dont like that show? its pretty funny and much better than cougar town. Look at the CW they have no comedy shows, they killed Everybody hates Chris after four very good seasons. Fox is killing my Til Death just like they killed my war at home years back.

You also forgot Two and half men. Its still going strong in my opnion. I still wish there were more comedies on TV. Also Curt do you think Fox putting four new episodes of til death on christmas day is like giving it a death sentence?

Oh I didn't forget Two and a Half Men. I do not like it. Yes, it seems Fox is pushing Til Death out the door. They weren't happy with their Friday nights, and that's why Dollhouse is canceled too.

Damn Curt. I hope it survives on Sunday. Two and a half men is classic though.
