It's been months in the making, but finally Oprah Winfrey will unveil the O magazine cover she shares with DeGeneres, who campaigned earlier this year for the spot. (Watch the video here.)
"I can't believe you're serious about this. I'm freaking out right now," DeGeneres said in March when Winfrey surprised her with the news.
Winfrey plans to show the cover during Friday's "The Oprah Winfrey Show," airing at 9 a.m. on WLS-Ch. 7 in Chicago. DeGeneres will be a guest on Monday's show, when Winfrey will present other photos and behind-the-scenes footage of the photo shoot.
"Ellen DeGeneres is a woman who can make things happen," Winfrey said in a press release Wednesday. "For only the second time in O history, I'm sharing the cover with a woman I adore."
Winfrey and Michelle Obama appeared on the April issue's cover. The December issue hits newsstands Nov. 12.
