But the doc-style special follows explorer Piers Gibbon as he tries to solve the mystery of 45-year-old footage of a human head--recently deceased--being shrunk. He retraces the steps of a 1960s expedition into the Amazon to find the Indian tribe shown in the film.

8 p.m. Monday, National Geographic
Expedition Week continues with this exciting special following a team of daredevil scientists who pluck an SUV-sized great white shark from the Pacific, run a series of tests and mount a tracking device all while pumping water into its mouth to keep it alive. The crew includes actor Paul Walker.
HUNT FOR THE SAMURAI SUBS
8 p.m. Tuesday, National Geographic
A team of explorers thinks they can find Japanese submarines that were lost at sea just as the country was defeated in WWII.
DEEP SECRETS: THE BALLARD GALLIPOLI EXPEDITIONS
