A 1st look at Timothy Olyphant in 'Lawman'

The network is giving fans a sneak peek of the show, which won't air until 2010. But from the looks of this clip, it should be worth the wait. It's based on Elmore Leonard's short story "Fire in the Hole." Leonard will act as a producer along with Graham Yost ("Boomtown"), Michael Dinner ("Karen Sisco"), Sarah Timberman and Carl Beverly ("Kidnapped").

Olyphant plays U.S. Marshal Raylan Givens, who gets reassigned to a district that includes his Kentucky hometown. The network has ordered 13 episodes. From the looks of this clip, Givens looks just as short-tempered as Seth Bullock, Olyphant's character on the dearly departed "Deadwood."
