Lisa Edelstein knows how to tease fans of "House" and actor Hugh Laurie.

“He’s super sexy, so who could complain about kissing him?” Edelstein told reporters during a Friday conference call to discuss Monday's episode, in which House and Edelstein's Dr. Cuddy—the pair known as Huddy—finally hook up.

“You’re not going to see me get naked or anything,” Edelstein teased, “but it was a pretty hot scene.”

Edelstein wouldn’t give too many details about Monday’s 7 p.m. episode, called “Under My Skin,” or the May 11 season finale, except to say there will be repercussions from the Huddy hook-up, he’s not going to stop seeing Amber any time soon, and it was a blast working with guest star Carl Reiner. Read more after the video below.

Edelstein said it’s no surprise House and Cuddy finally get together Monday, because whatever is between them has been going on for a long time. The characters’ history has been mentioned on the show before, but Edelstein filled in a few gaps on Friday. She said that they knew each other when she was in college, where she audited a class she knew he would be in “just to check him out.” She was “maybe obsessed with him,” Edelstein said.

“He was exactly the kind of lunatic she liked,” she said. “I relate to her taste in men. I definitely don’t have the best taste in men. I don’t know that intelligence and taste necessarily go hand in hand. I think what we’re attracted to in finding a partner is usually something that resolves some complicated piece of our past. And for Cuddy, it’s House. It always has been.”

That doesn’t mean that after Monday they will be spending their life together. Edelstein was surprised to hear about Internet buzz that suggested Cuddy would end up pregnant with twins (“I guess I can start eating spaghetti again ... It’s pretty funny that that’s the rumor.”). The finale, called "Both Sides Now," will deal with the fallout from their getting together, but Edelstein wouldn’t go into details.

The actress was more than happy to talk about Reiner’s guest appearance, saying that the 87-year-old funny man is “amazing” to watch in action. Reiner plays a patient in the clinic with whom Cuddy makes House spend time.

“She thinks it will be an amusing thing to push this guy on House,” Edelstein said. “It was great fun working with Carl Reiner. How exciting. He’s legendary. We had a lot of fun. The storyline is great and touching and I think he does a wonderful job.”
