"The Flight of the Conchords" doesn't begin its second season on HBO until Jan. 18, but the hilarious series touched down on Funny or Die on Wednesday.
In the half-hour opener, New Zealand music--OK, comedy--geniuses Bret McKenzie and Jemaine Clement drop their clueless manager, Murray (Rhys Darby). ANd then, of course, they sing, kicking off the new season's story arc.
Enjoy the episode, and watch to the end, when you'll be rewarded with an angelic Bret and Jemaine performing. It's great stuff.
All you Jemainiacs and Bretaholics have the chance to join the fun and be seen on HBO. Just enter the Flight of the Conchords' LipDub Fansterpiece contest. To enter, download the band's "Hiphopopotamus vs. Rhymenoceros," lip-sync to it on video, upload the vid to the Fansterpiece site and hope for the best.
If you're having trouble figuring it out, superfan Mel (Kristen Schaal) has posted a how-to video.
