Caster Semenya Will Keep Her Gold Medal

It's a sexy and newsy day here at SATWC, and even though this one is a little late, it's a story we've been following since the start. 

Congrats to Caster Semenya who gets to keep her gold medal from the 800 meter run at the World Championships in Berlin.  The IAAF is not releasing results of gender testing being done to determine her sex and eligibility, but have determined that her win in August will be upheld.

I personally am very excited for this 18 year old.  At a time of such transition in one's life, regardless of gender, it must have been horrifying for her to withstand the media storm that surrounded her questionable gender.  Well-done Caster!
