This week's hot happenings in Chicago

Tonight, September 15th, the debauchery continues with Stigma, an Industry Fetish and Rock & Roll party which happens the 3rd Tuesday of every month at Empire Liquors (1566 N. Milwaukee). This month is a back to school theme. My experience at last month's Stigma was pretty rousing. Leave the snake at home this time please, ladies.

On September 16th, Lady Jack brings a burlesque carnival flair to the No-Tell Motel from 10-midnight at Debonair Social Club (1575 N. Milwaukee), featuring electronic music, decadent costuming, and creative performances, including 3 gals from The Ripettes Burlesque (Dixie More, Sushi Martinez, and Miss Jeez Loueez) as well as Natasha Minsk.Finding a space between the theatricality of neo-burlesque and the energy of the Chicago club scene, Lady Jack invites you to indulge in a night of beautiful and (mostly) sophisticated seduction. RSVP in advance for free champagne at 9pm.

Other events:
If you can't make it to No-Tell Motel, you can also catch Lady Jack in The Wild Party, a Silent Theatre Company adaptation of a 20's poem about the tumultuous relationship between a dancer and her lover. Read my review of the show on Centerstage for details.

Join The Impact Chicago (JTIC) and the Glenwood Bar invite you to "Fashion for Equality" this Thursday, September 17 from 8-11pm at The Glenwood (6962 N. Glenwood Ave) to benefit the Chicago contingent of the National Equality March.  Support the grassroots efforts of the LGBTQ community and have fun while doing it. All proceeds raised by JTIC will help bring as many people as possible to the National Equality March on Washington D.C. on October 10-11.

Michigan Avenue magazine and the Redhead Piano Bar invite you to Redhead Revue this Thursday, September 17th from 6-8pm at The Redhead Piano Bar (16 W. Ontario St). The Redhead is looking for a fun, fabulous redhead to appear in their new ad. Is it you?

Not a redhead? No problem - you can still enjoy specialty cocktails and vote for your favorite. RSVP to redheadrsvp@michiganavemag.com by September 15.

The Revolution has begun...at the toilet? Yes, gender offenders and outlaws will be reclaiming public toilets this Saturday, September 19th from 9:45-11:45am with some quiet public theater. If you are interested in drawing public attention (in an underground, guerrilla action sort of way) to an all-too-common issue in the genderqueer community, contact Genderqueer Chicago and get in on the organizing! genderqueerchicago@gmail.com

Other events going on that I missed? Leave 'em in the comments.
