This is pretty awesome - a group of young people in Chicago created a video on rape culture as part of After School Matters. They created the video "to spread awareness and get people thinking about how and why rape happens." It's inspiring to see young people taking a stand on an issue that's so pervasive in our culture. Kudos to all of those who put this together.

It's great to see a video like this, especially from youth. I've been fortunate to see the work done by ASM and others when I was working for a youth organization, but I'm glad to see the message expand so much.

Indeed. Have you seen any of the videos North Lawndale College Prep has done? They are an amazing charter school, esp in regards to videos on gun violence, democracy, etc: http://www.nlcphs.org/index.htm

Those are good. Usually, we were sent videos by Free Spirit, ASM and other groups, so I don't always remember which schools had which videos, but the students always have a great amount to say on these topics (especially with violence and crime) and most seem to capture it vividly.
