The right to bare arms: Don't miss Naked Girls Reading

Fourth of July may be over, but the real fireworks are just getting started. Naked Girls Reading
is back and they're backing that ass up this time with a Freedom of Choice themed reading at Studio L'amour (939 W Randolph) on Friday, July 10th, 7-10pm.  Reading for you will be the ever lovely Michelle L'amour, Greta Layne, Dominique Trixx, Mina Mechante and Deirdre Doll.

I was skeptical at first about Naked Girls Reading, thinking it was going to be a kind of Hooters on Heels, but ended up being totally blown away by last month's poetry-themed event. The attention and thoughtfulness each girl devoted to their chosen authors showcased their passion for literature and the ways in which words can transform the mediocre into something truly spectacular. I highly recommend you attend tomorrow's reading, a freedom which is guaranteed, I'm pretty sure, by several constitutional amendments, including the right to bare arms. (Snarf?)

Rob Sherman from Godless in Chicago agrees with me.

If you're booked Friday, you can still see these lovely ladies in action on Sunday, July 12th at Dr. Sketchy's - The Anti-Art School, from 1:30-4:30, also at Studio L'amour. The featured model is their resident Brit, Lily Bloom, with a performance by Dominique Trixx. DJ Ajent Orange from Minneapolis will be spinning British pop and rock throughout.
