One thing I often bemoan to my weekly pre-teen Bible study group is that there just aren't enough places to dish about sex in Chicago. That and how dry the sex scenes are in the Good Book. (Ed note: Kidding. I've never actually read the Bible and so cannot attest to its erotic potential). Anyhoodle, if you're looking for a place to talk about sex in a safe, inclusive environment, then come one, come all to tonight's Pleasure Salon, brought to you by SEX+++ and SWOP-Chicago. Grab a beer, and hang out with Chicago's sex-positive community at Villains Bar & Grill (649 S. Clark Street) from 6-10pm.

What it's about:

Pleasure Salon, every first Tuesday, is the place to talk about sex, culture and sexual fun! This event is modeled on New York's Pleasure Salon, "A Gathering of Sex-Positive Activists." We want to build networks among all kinds of sex-positive people and create an open exchange of ideas about sex. All are welcome.

Is anyone else going to this? I will be there, nipple clamps fully tweaked and prepared to two-fist the night away. (Beer, people. I'm talking about beer.)
