I cry when people win, I cry when people fail, I cry at the overworked stories of kids growing up homeless and penniless on the slopes of Vermont with just a pair of skis and a dream. From the figure skating, hockey and half-pipe to the surprisingly enthralling curling competition, I'm hooked.
There are people, however, who think these Vancouver games are a snooze. There are those who complain about the lack of suspense in tape-delayed events and those who want more action, fewer heart-wrenching stories told with a soft focus lens.
This clip, my friends, is for all of us. The lovers, the haters, even the Canadians.
Back in 1992, Ski Ballet may have just been a demonstration event, with no real medals awarded, but it will always get the Gold in our hearts.

Interesting. I guess ski ballet is known as acroski? Sounds like a Bohemian cookie or something.
