The Blackhawks and the Avs split their first two games this season, each winning one in a shootout. Not just your average shootouts, mind you. Andrew Ladd's goal in the ninth (!) round of the shootout won Game 1 for Chicago, while Chris Stewart netted one in the eighth (!) round of the Game 2 shootout to give the Avs the win.

Even if they don't go nine rounds, the third meeting between the two teams promises to be special. Not only is tonight Bobby Hull Heritage Night, the Hawks will also pay tribute to Veterans Day by wearing camouflage jerseys during warm-ups.

Take it away, Blackhawks press release.

These one-of-a-kind jerseys, which are being worn in support of those that serve or have served in the military, will be autographed by the player that sports them and auctioned online at chicagoblackhawks.com between November 11 and 18, with all proceeds benefitting [sic] the USO of Illinois. The Blackhawks and Boeing are also hosting 50 military members and their guests at the game as part of the "Salute to Military" program

If you're a merchandise junkie, or just a fan of camo, you can start bidding on the specialized jerseys now.
