This morning I was a guest on The Dugout Sports Show, talking tonight's matchup between the Chicago Bulls and the Cleveland Cavaliers. The Cavs will try to win their fourth straight, while the Bulls are coming off a dramatic comeback win over the Milwaukee Bucks.
Chicago will certainly have its hands full with the Cavs' two seven-footers, Shaquille O'Neal and Zydrunas Ilgauskas. To make matters worse down low, Tyrus Thomas, still sick with the flu, didn't make the trip to Cleveland.
Luol Deng was spectacular against the Bucks, with 24 points and a career-high 20 rebounds and he'll need to have another big game to help the Bulls get their first away win. Chicago has lost by an average of 18 points in their two road losses this season.
While talking to the host of The Dugout Sports Show, Glenn Moore, I was reminded of the many teams that missed their chance at a championship because of MJ and the '90s Bulls. The Knicks, the Pistons, the Jazz...
But no team suffered more at the hands of Jordan than the Cavs...
Bulls Head to Cleveland To Face LeBron & The Cavs
...and no player is more infamous for his role as a victim of MJ's dominance than Craig Ehlo.
Let's see what Derrick Rose and co. can do to help the Bulls regain their role as heartbreakers in the city of Cleveland.
UPDATE: ESPN Chicago is reporting that Tyrus Thomas will fly to Cleveland to meet the team and is questionable for tonight's game.
