Ron Culp is an Indiana native who wanted to live in Chicago ever since he attended his first Cubs game at age six.  He got his wish 23 years ago, but only after working in newspaper, government and corporate jobs in Indiana, New York and Connecticut.

Ron's corporate alma maters include Eli Lilly, Pitney Bowes, Sara Lee and Sears.  At Sears, he was Senior Vice President of Public Relations and Government Affairs and served on the corporation's executive committee.  Ron currently is a partner at Ketchum, a large, global public relations agency, and he heads the firm's North America Corporate Practice. Ron has hired and mentored hundreds of individuals throughout his career.  He also provides guidance to young people seeking careers in public relations at Culpwrit.com.

A believer in the importance of nonprofit organizations to the community and personal development, Ron has served on the Lincoln Park Zoo board for 21 years.  He also is a board member of Gilda's Club Chicago, the Plank Center for Leadership in Public Relations, and the Indiana State University Foundation.  He is a former board member and vice chair of the Economic Club of Chicago.

Ron and his wife, Sandra, have two adult sons.  Grant is a legislative assistant for U.S. Rep. John Shimkus (R-IL) in Washington, D.C., and Brad is Editor of Triathlete Magazine in San Diego.
