Tiger Woods Public Statement Was Nothing More Than A Great Actor Reading A Good Script

This was merely an audition for a reality series that will take place from now on through the likes of TMZ and tabloid journalism.  How can we trust a man who has lived a false life for the last 13 years simply because he says "I'm sorry?"

Trust and forgiveness is earned, and quite frankly Tiger Woods lived the biggest lie in professional sports.  Bigger than steroids in baseball, bigger than any work stoppage, Tiger Woods is bigger than the sport he plays in and that is not even debatable.

Name one other athlete that can take 15-20 minutes where the world watched him and everything he did.  Not to mention that the bar had been set where he could pick who was in the room and no questions be asked.  There isn't a single athlete/politician/world leader/celebrity that could have that much pull in their profession.  He's simply what WE made him....the single most popular man of our time.  

Popularity grants you certain luxuries and Tiger took advantage of every single one of them over his career.  He's so popular where he could keep what he was doing off the course so private not many knew of his actions.  He's so popular that when his actions become public knowledge, he makes the rules on how the answers will come about and to whom they get spoken to.

Tiger Woods didn't give us anything more today than show us what a salesman he really is.  Scripted from the short and to the point sentences to the aggressive tone in his voice when talking about "falsehoods."  This man has been groomed to be the biggest pitchman in history and today he showed us all how he works.

Don't believe a second of this crap because he's fooled us all once, and he's trying to do it again.  What Tiger Woods should have said was I made a mistake because I'm just like every other top athlete in sport.  I cheat.

Michael Jordan wasn't Mr. McDonalds while he gambled in Vegas and slept around on his family.  Mark McGwire cheated his sport because the sport needed it.  Don't even get me started on football.  

So for people who want to criticize the PGA and Accenture for allowing this act to be performed, remember it's the best thing for business because more people are watching than the plane crash coverage on the major news networks.  They're not dummies, they know what they're doing.  No matter how many women he may have slept with, he still turns everything he touches or associated with into GOLD! 

Tiger Woods can still do whatever he wants because he's Tiger Woods.  He's bigger than anything going right now.

I'll stand by everything I said about Tiger Woods:

1. He's not a "sex addict"
2. Tiger Woods is golf, and golf is Tiger Woods
3. I think he should still retire because he has nothing more to prove
4. He's human....because if we had his money and power....we'd all do the exact same things.

Today we all found out that he's the greatest actor in professional sports.
