So on a weekend where the Bears did not play, and the hangover from yet another embarrassing loss is still not gone.  What did you do with your weekend off?

Some of you I am sure raked the leaves in your front yard or did a little early Christmas shopping.  My wife and I took our son to see his grandparents in Rockford and of course a quick stop for a Beef-A-Roo!

However there still was football on the list of to do's for the weekend and with the power of my Sirius Satellite Radio, I scanned around the country getting caught up on what is happening in the National Football League.  Here's what I found out.

#1 - The Saints and Colts remain the class of the NFC/AFC respectively.  Although both teams got wins in close games.

#2 - There is no slowing down the Minnesota Vikings.  Adrian Peterson is a beast and the rise of Sidney Rice as a go-to WR for Brett Favre makes the Vikings look like a strong contender for the NFC crown.

#3 - Bill Belichick went for the win and lost out.  I agreed with the decision, but not the play call.

#4 - How bout my upset special of the week picking Washington to beat Denver.  Just another reason to listen to the Joe O And Rock Show, Saturday nights on WSCR 670AM The Score.  (Shameless Plug)

#5 - Tennessee Titans owner Bud Adams is officially the dumbest NFL owner in history.

A little unusual that Rock Mamola would mention Tennessee Titans owner Bud Adams in a Rock Report, right?  If you have not seen the story....this is all you need to know.

WARNING: If you don't enjoy the site of old men in baby blue suits showing middle fingers in a ra-ra fashion....do not view this video!

Now in an age of cell phones, cell phone cameras, and twitter being the new source for all news in the world.....you think Bud Adams would be flipping the bird in private.  Maybe in a bathroom stall or something would be a better than standing outside your suite at LP Field flipping off the Buffalo Bills as your team trounces them 41-17.  I am not the smartest guy in the world, but the same man who demanded Vince Young start over Kerry Collins (who lead the Titans to a 13-3 record last season) after his team started the season 0-6 with possibly the WORST DEFENSE in the NFL, is flipping the bird to an opposing team.

That will show em, right Bud?  "F" you and "F" your team Buffalo....we beat you all over the field.

I've always been told to act my age, hence why I still do some of the stupid crap I did when I was 23.  However, Bud Adams is 86 and not getting any younger.  Adams has been a NFL executive since 1970 and has never won a Super Bowl.  He and Ralph Wilson are the only surviving members of bringing in a AFL team into the NFL.

The man is a professional football legend, a smart businessman and without a doubt one founding father of the current NFL.  Those two fingers pointed to the sky was the most immature, childish and outright crude way to show your emotions of the game.  No matter who those fingers are directed at, it's just not called for....and you got caught.

Now the real decision is up to Roger Goddell and the NFL which according to Yahoo Sports! Charles Robinson, Goddell was in Tennessee for the game and in Adams' suite at least at one point of the contest.  How ironic is it that the commissioner of the NFL has to set a penalty to a guy he merely said hello to at the same game he was at.

This will be a true test for Roger Goddell because it was something that was not reflected on the field, just on youtube.  I hope Goddell doesn't play favorites with his owner buddies and give a small penalty for this.  If you are going to fine Jay Cutler 20K for arguing with the referees, then this act of foolishness should warrant the same penalty if not more.

The NFL has no real rules and regulations for disciplining owners of teams, but Bud Adams' act is worth a large punishment.  I am sure some people find this hilarious, and to be honest I shook my head with a smile the first time I saw it too.

If the NFL is indeed the No Fun League, then that should apply for Bud Adams as well.

In the words of Ashton Kutcher.....COME ON GODDELL!!!
