Cameron Frye's house is for sale

Like many in my generation, I'm saddened by the death of John Hughes, writer and director of favorites like the Breakfast Club, Ferris Bueller's Day Off and Sixteen Candles.

The good news is, a little piece of the legacy is on the market right now. Here's the listing for Cameron Frye's north shore home from "Bueller." The four-bedroom, four-bath Highland Park house is 5,300 square feet and listed at $2.3 million, including the glass and steel garage. But the experience of laying in bed singing "let my Cameron go" is priceless.

Also, check out the RedEye's post on the home going on the market from May.

Other Hughes film houses include the "Home Alone" house at 671 Lincoln Avenue in Winnetka and the "Sixteen Candles" house in the 3000 block of Payne Street in Evanston, according to Wikipedia. Unfortunately, Ferris Bueller's house is in California, and most of "Uncle Buck" was shot in a high school gym.
