Google to expand real estate searches

If it's location your looking for, Google maps is a great tool for helping find a house. But if you're looking for more, you're probably being redirected to Zillow or Realtor.com.

Until now- Google announced that it will be improving its real estate searching capabilities. You can read their blog entry on the new search services here.

 FBS Blog details some of its increased search components. Read Write Web also wrote up on it.

Many Realtors that I talk to say their clients are already much more educated than they used to be owhenn they first come infor real estate showings. With many young home buyers using Google to run most of their lives, these new search elements, if they work, should increase this knowledge and help you understand what you're looking for before you get anywhere near a showing.

What would we ever do without Google?

One thing ithat Google doesn't do at all well is searches for new construction in Chicago.
