The CTA recently announced that 24 Green Line stations (all Green Line stations except those in the Loop) are seeing new security cameras. The rest of the stations will have cameras by the end of this year, according to the CTA.

For the next week, "Going Public" will look at crime at these 24 stations based on data from Everyblock.com. "GP" will examine three stations a day.

>> First up was Ashland/63rd, Halsted and Cottage Grove.

>> Then King Drive, Garfield and 51st.

>> Then 47th, 43rd and Indiana.

>> Then 35th-Bronzeville-IIT, Roosevelt and Clinton

>> Then Ashland, California and Kedzie

Now "GP" is looking at Conservatory-Central Park Drive, Pulaski and Cicero.
