What's up with this CTA turnstile?

***Update: The CTA response is below.

Ryan Kiefer wrote to "Going Public" about a change with the Chicago Card turnstiles. Anyone else noticing this at their station? His photo is below.

"This is the turnstiles at Midway. The Chicago Card-only lane used to be second to the right, just next to the handicapped turnstile. Now it's a regular Chicago+transit card lane."

The CTA responded: "CTA is reconfiguring turnstiles that had been Chicago Card only to also accept magnetic strip fare cards."

This appears to be systemwide. At the link below is a picture of the Merchandise Mart stop, with no Chicago Card-only turnstile. In fact, you can tell where the lane used to be because as of this picture they haven't removed the Chicago Card decals from the turnstile yet.
