Ernest says: "These days there seems to be a bit of a disconnect
with what it means to be a "man". This site works hard to bridge the
gap between our gruff fore-fathers and today's modern man. From
motivational quotes to life skills, this one's got it all. Now I'm off
to chop down a tree and wrestle a bear."

Every day we try to feature a new website submitted by readers. Submit your favorite website to me @crushgear, or just email us at redeyetalk@gmail.com.

God knows these skinny jeans, tight-hoodie-wearing, sensitive-acoustic-guitar-music loving guys I see today could use this site. I've got nothing against being sensitive to the feelings of others not being overly-macho, but a lot off the guys out there need to "man up". Put down the frappachino and drink some black coffee. And just because you drink a PBR every now and then doesn't make you a "working stiff". We've gotten in touch with our feminine side long enough, time to get back in touch with the masculine side.

Right on Guy Smiley! As I was walking in the Loop yesterday, I was by the Cook County Bldg, I think, the one with all the massive columns? Anyway, I thought to myself: What manner of men were living in Chicago at the turn of the century? (From 1800s to 1900s) Although men today do lots of things, our former generations were surely great, bold, tough men.
