Where's the love, O?

Dear Oprah: What's this I hear? You're skipping town?

Word on the street is that you're packing up the show. I'm not letting you go this easily. We can work it out! I know I left Chicago that one time to go to college, but I came back. And we just had that big party on Michigan Avenue--I still have that stupid Black Eyed Peas song stuck in my head.

You're an institution. You've taken a talk show and used it to change how people interact in our society. On a personal note, you more than exemplify what a little hard work can do for you. That's inspiring. But hey, I've gotten kind of used to Chicago's biggest and brightest shoving off for new shores, so we're cool. We've got until 2011 to hang out, right?

See Curt Wagner's counterpoint: Good for you, Oprah!
