"Going Public" caught up with the CTA Holiday Train on its maiden ride Saturday. The trip started at the Howard stop, where the Yellow, Red and Purple Lines meet.

Riders took photos with Santa and received free candy canes. If you spot the holiday train, please send a photo to tswartz@tribune.com for a photo gallery "GP" is putting together.
