CTA rider: Driver called girl 'moron'

user-pic
A rider wrote to "Going Public" about a bad bus experience. "GP" sent the rider a link to the CTA contact page. Contact information is available here.

"I was wondering if you knew how to get in touch with CTA with comments about their staff. I was riding the bus [Wednesday] and the driver skipped a young girls' stop.

When the girl moved to the front of the bus, she called her a moron, refused to let her off (it was an express bus so she would not budge even though she was the one who did not stop!), and then as the girl asked for her badge number, told the whole bus that she would lie to her supervisor if the girl called to complain!

I was appalled, and if there is any way I can let someone know how horrible this woman's actions were, it would be great. I usually have great interactions with bus drivers, but this was kind of ridiculous. I don't even know what I would do if that were me."

I'm often amazed by the level of rudeness and total lack of professionalism by some CTA employees. Although most CTA Drivers seem, for the most part, courteous, there are a few out there that act like they were raised by wolves.
