Zach Braff is not dead, fake CNN page being shared on Twitter

user-pic
Zach Braff is not dead. "Zach Braff" is currently a Twitter trending topic, and according to the tweets, it sounds like someone created a fake CNN page showing the headline "Beloved Scrubs actor found dead in his home." We have seen nothing on CNN or AP that would indicate that this is true. I found an image of the fake CNN page here: http://www.chrisbox.com/c/dump/p/braff.html. I am not certain that this is the source. A photograph of the URL is below.

UPDATE: RedEye blogger Show Patrol has confirmed information from an ABC rep. Zach Braff has posted a funny video proving that he's alive. The original "scam" page has been taken down and replaced with an apology.

Just a heads up. These Twitter scams can be pretty rotten. Visit Show Patrol for more updates.

Another "dead" giveaway: CNN.com does not post AP stories.
