Hello, Chicago foodies!
Please help us, and Top Chef Stephanie Izard, pick our FINAL Virtual Kitchen Stadium winner.
Today we have our three finalists from our Virtual Kitchen Stadium contest. Every weekend for the last three weeks, Chef Izard has been announcing 3 secret ingredients. On Monday morning, possible chef-testants emailed RedEye their creations and recipes. The winners from each week are posted below.
Now for the final round.
While Chef Izard is working on a celebration for all of the contestants, only one aspiring chef will be able to cook with her at one of her highly coveted Wandering Goat dinners.
Which chef will it be? Chef Izard will decide, but vote in the poll below to help her make her decision!

I love Vietnamese cuisine and I think that Mimi's banh mi takes classic cuisine in a BOLD new direction.

I'm going with Joel's stuffed baked apples. It's creative and very much reminds me of the holidays! Curious tho... if I had a pork stuffed apple a day, would that keep the doctor away too?

I vote for the stuffed quail though the baked apples looked great also. With all the great creations throughout the three weeks I cannot possibly vote for a glorified meatball hero. Sorry Mimi.

Surprisingly, I cater for Mimi..She has great idea, simple and quick and easy. I like the fact that the whole concept of taking asian inspired food to european food was a good trick. Anyways, goodluck to all finals..At least you made it!!

Yea, I'm ruling out anything that involves quail... which leaves Joel's apples. Is quail even sustainable?
