Rachael Ray showed Chicago some love on Friday by filming the fourth season premiere of her daytime talk show in Wrigleyville, as part of her Big Block Party. Ray interviewed Chicago native Jenny McCarthy for the taping on a stage set up just outside of Wrigley Field.

During her interview with McCarthy, set to air Sept. 14 on WGN, McCarthy dished about her diet tips, her son Evan and her romance with Jim Carrey. McCarthy, who works with Weight Watchers, confessed that she used to eat Giordano's pizza, but now is a vegan. And, of course, McCarthy gushed about her beau, Carrey, saying he's "everything I've ever dreamed a man could be."

Other celebs who popped up at the event included "American Idol" stars Kimberly Locke and Justin Guarini, along with chefs Rocco DiSpirito and Rick Bayless.

Ne-Yo on the record
Ne-Yo headlined Macy's 11th annual Glamorama on Friday night at the Chicago Theater. In an interview with my intern, Nichole Berry, on the red carpet, the entertainer said he is a relationship kind of guy. "I prefer relationships, but ya know things don't always work out the way they should," he said. So is Ne-Yo looking for a leading lady? "Indirectly," he said. "If the Lord chooses to let one fall in my lap ... [cough!] - then I'm all for it!" He also addressed rumors that he is gay or lost his virginity at age 9. "That's insane!" he said.
