Valentine's Day Massacre - Feb. 14, 1929

On the morning of St. Valentine's Day, two gunmen, disguised as police officers, lined up seven men along a wall and riddled their bodies with bullets. The garage at 2122 N. Clark St. was a hangout for the George "Bugs" Moran gang, but the target of the gunmen -- Moran -- wasn't inside when the massacre, ordered by Al Capone, took place. (Associated Press Photo)
