Leopold and Loeb - 1924

Two brilliant University of Chicago students, Nathan Leopold and Richard Loeb, murdered Bobby Franks just for the thrill of trying to get away with it. They were caught, convicted and sentenced to life in prison. The crime has been chronicled through dozens of books and films over the years. (Chicago Tribune Photo)
