Disco Demolition - July 12, 1979
Between games of a White Sox doubleheader, radio personalities Steve Dahl and Garry Meier blew up thousands of disco records in the Comiskey Park outfield. The packed crowd, lured by 98 cent tickets if they brought a record, rushed the field and chaos ensued. The field was deemed unplayable and White Sox were forced to forfeit the game.
