According to a report in today's Chicago Sun-Times, since the two ticket booting threshold went into effect, booting has increased dramatically.
The Sun-Times says the city has issued 183,293 seizure notices and booted 3,493 vehicles since April.
Unfortunately, it's hard to say if this claim is accurate as the newspaper does not provide any comparative numbers from last year to see if this is true.
While it stands to reason that booting is up, and I was just noticing the last few days what seems to be an increased number of boots on the street, one cannot say without previous years' numbers.
Don't worry, the brain addled Geek is looking into it.
