City Sticker Deadline Midnight Tonight
Midnight tonight.
That's when the grace period ends for having your 2009-2010 Chicago city sticker firmly affixed to your windshield.
After that, as early as 12:01, you risk the chance of $120 ticket and you will have to pay a $40 late fee after today.
If you need to get your city sticker today, time is running out and long lines are reported at all DOR Substations and City Clerk offices, except for City Hall.
"Things are running smoothly at City Hall," says Kristine Williams, Information Director for the
City Clerk's office. "There's about a 30 minute wait."
But all these city offices close at 5 PM.
Your best bet is a Currency Exchange. With many open late or 24 hours, you have a better chance of faster service there.
Time is running out, so stop reading this and get your butt in gear!

I never bought one of those when i lived in the city, but I only lived there one year. By the time I heard it even existed, we only had 6 months on our lease so I decided to risk it.
Do most people buy these things or just take their chances?
