DEVELOPING: The Chicago Tribune is reporting, many of the newly installed, downtown Pay & Display payment stations are not working.
Approximately 125 of the 556 machines are not printing receipts. So people are paying, but without payment receipts to display on their dashboard, people could be ticketed.
Chicago police and Dept. of Revenue parking enforcement aides, have been instructed NOT to ticket at meters downtown today.
