Next Stop: Soup and Bread, Winter Flavors at Green Grocer, A Dill Pickle

  • The Soup and Bread Cookbook release party happens tonight at the Hideout. Enjoy some cider and get your cookbook signed. A part of the proceeds from all sales will be donated to the Greater Chicago Food Depository.
  • Local food artisans Nice Cream and Glazed Donuts make an appearance at Green Grocer early Friday evening, debuting their new winter flavors. Examples include Cinnamon Ice Cream with Spicy Candied Pecans and Bourbon Pecan Pie donuts. Yeaahhhhh.
  • Logan Square celebrates a new (maybe only?) co-op Saturday: the Dill Pickle Food Co-op (3039 W. Fullerton), and will have a line-up of special guests and events. More details here and here.
