Initial Oak Park City Limits blog

Welcome one and all to the first Oak Park City Limits blog in the entire history of the world. As a lifelong resident of OP, 43 years to be exact (not counting my college years and one year in a River Forest apartment) I intend to keep you abreast of what I feel are interesting events and facets of life in the first suburb west of downtown Chicago.

I am not a trained writer of blogs or anything for that matter, so do not focus on gramatical errors when reading my blog (I do know how to use Spellcheck and will do the best I can). This is not what I do for a living, so keep that in mind. I took on this responsibility out of a chance opportunity and an interest in educating the world about the goings on in my town. I will take a candid look at such matters and provide an opinion that is honest and objective, kind of a "warts and all" approach. So if you're looking for OP bashing, sure it could happen, or if your looking for OP promoting, that could happen too. It all depends on the subject matter and what my feelings are towards it. I will be coming at you soon with my first hard-hittling look at OP, so be prepared.
