Willow returns, but not for long

We nearly squealed with delight when we found out that one of our very favorite gift shops, Willow, will return as a pop-up shop for the holiday season, opening tomorrow just a few doors down on Damen Avenue from where it closed earlier this year.

Willow has existed in e-boutique form since closing, but owner Amy Doehla always intended to return temporarily for the holiday season, since that's her top-selling time of the year. It'll stay open through November, December and January before again retreating to its virtual form.

Doehla is showcasing slightly less merch than before in a slightly larger space, but you can expect the same witty and wonderful gifts and housewares that Willow was known for, from a neon green roller skate bookend (pictured) to cactus-inspired glass vases to skull-and-crossbones doormat.
