New brunches: Mercadito and LM Le Restaurant

Stuck in a brunch rut? We've got two new spots to try this weekend. First up: River North fancypants Mex spot Mercadito, launching brunch Sunday (11:30- a.m.-3:30 p.m.). Also: LM Le Restaurant, Lincoln Square's new contemporary French spot, serving 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. LM's lineup sounds particularly promising, touting dishes such as sourdough pancakes with elderberry preserves and vanilla butter, and an omelet with camembert, caramelized onions and spinach.
