The next few weeks - and most likely the next two years - promise to be "an enormously entertaining thriller," indeed.
An enormously entertaining thriller
Thanks to Bob's co-worker James for making us movie stars.
This gave me a good laugh in the midst of my packing nightmare.
Okay, nightmare is a bit of an exaggeration. This is nothing compared to leaving the house!
So, today is Friday. It's our last day living with my family. On one hand, that day in July when we first arrived here seeking refuge seems so long ago. On the other it flew by. Just flew!
Tomorrow at 6 AM we will begin our thrilling and entertaining adventure- the move to the island. And in one week we'll be there. In our new digs. A totally new life. A place I have never seen with my own eyes. How crazy is that? I love it.
We're roadtripping again. Yay, roadtrip!
This time we might - most likely will- encounter snow.
Our thrilling and entertaining itinerary
This post will be my last "live" post before arriving in Friday Harbor as Bob and I have chosen to unplug for this week. Mostly. I will be on Twitter. So to follow our adventure via tweets click here and follow @littof.
Though my posts won't be "live," there will be posts so make sure to check the blog! First of all you will definitely be getting a new post from the Real Estate Mom. On top of that, each day will bring a favorite post from the archives.

Lastly, I just want to say how grateful I am right now. At the risk of sounding like a pageant acceptance speech...
I'm grateful to my family for being so loving and accepting. For actually wanting Bob and I around. For giving us shelter and love - both unconditional. This move is emotionally challenging for me because I've gotten used to having my family around over the last few months. I will miss them so much. Thank you family for believing in us!
I am grateful to our friends for being such extraordinary human beings! For caring about us. For going out of their way for us over and over again. I'm humbled by your love, support, friendship and generosity.
I'm grateful for Bob. I'm grateful for our love. And our friendship. Our partnership that has weathered so many storms and grown stronger and more beautiful as a result. I'm grateful that he loves life and learning like I do. And that together we truly can accomplish anything.
I am so grateful for you. Yes you. Love in the Time of Foreclosure readers. Your comments, support, e-mails have been an incredible uplift for me. You've given us wonderful support, cheering us on from the sidelines. You've shared tips that could help us. You've shared intimate stories from your lives. You have made us laugh and you've believed in us. I'm really in awe at everything this blog has become. I had no idea what it would be when I wrote my first post back in January, was it? Wow. Thank you for reading. You have no idea the difference you have made for me in my life. I'm eternally grateful.
Okay, now. I am going to the gym with my mom to get a workout in before this monster move. Then packing. Then high school soccer game. Then dinner. Then bed. Then.... drive.
Next time you hear from me (live) we'll be islanders. I look forward to catching up with you in a week. Don't forget to come back here, though, to read the favorite posts from the archives. Especially if you're a new reader.
From the bottom of my heart...
Thank you.
