Lunchtime Lecture

I guess if you work in the Loop lunch is more than just about eating. A couple of days ago I recommended Eat To The Beat, where the Harris Theater invited you to eat during a performance. Today I'm recommending Gallery Talk.

This is a program at the Chicago Cultural Center, and they're featuring the photography of Barbara Crane. She's a Chicagoan who's been capturing images for 60 years and the center is hosting the most comprehensive exhibition of her work to date.

Today's talk begins at 12:15 and is led by Abigail Foerstner, an essayist on Ms. Crane. If you can't make it today, Whitney Bradshaw will be leading a discussion on December 17, and the artist herself will be present on January 7.

The exhibition will be at the Chicago Cultural Center until January 10.

What: Gallery Talk
When: Today, 12:15pm
Where: Chicago Cultural Center
How much: Free
