Through an artist's eyes

I am a student journalist at DePaul University and an enthusiastic blogger for Lincoln Park Now. I am interested in community journalism, new media, and volunteering. My number one passion? Writing, of course!

With all the breath-taking scenery Lincoln Park has to offer, it's no wonder our neighborhood becomes the muse for many local artists.

I would like to introduce Rich Trotter, a friend, fellow blogger, and awesome photographer that I met at the LPCS. Rich's careful and captivating images feature some of Lincoln Park's most scenic and breathtaking views.

For me, they also invoke a sense of nostalgia for my old stomping grounds. They're classic Lincoln Park!

This photo gallery features a few of Rich's images that were on exhibit last summer at the Chicago Photography Center at 3301 N. Lincoln Ave.

Are you a Chicago photographer or artist? Do you know someone who is? If Lincoln Park has ever been your muse, send us your work and we'll feature it in an upcoming blog!
