By now, most people have probably secured their Thanksgiving plans and are daydreaming about all the delicious food to come. What's not to love about Thanksgiving? It's a day devoted to lounging, eating, and reminiscing with relatives.

But there's another holiday on the horizon that celebrates a different kind of binging--Blackout Wednesday!

I recently learned that the Wednesday before Thanksgiving is one of the biggest party nights of the year. I am not sure why this never occurred to me previously, since it makes a lot of sense. People are home (or soon to be headed home) for the holiday and won't have to work the next day. That means that they are free to party hard the whole night before Thanksgiving with very few consequences.

And what better way to nurse a hangover than with cranberry sauce and stuffing?

If you're looking to spend your Blackout Wednesday in Lincoln Park, then you've come to the right place! Lincoln Park Now contacted the 5 highest-rated Lincoln Park bars on Yelp! and compiled a list of their Blackout Wednesday bar specials just for you!

Looks like Mr. Potato Head's had a few too many!
