As much as both sides enjoyed their 2 1/2-month joyride together, all signs point to a breakup with Martinez, now a free agent right-hander, finding a new home for 2010. The Los Angeles Dodgers and Chicago Cubs reportedly are possible landing spots for Martinez, who did prove in his short time with the Phillies that he has something left after having consecutive injury-riddled seasons with the New York Mets from 2007-08.
I'm not sure how "reportedly landing spots" turns into stalking. And this is the first we've heard of this rumor (aside from when Pedro was still unsigned this summer). But at least it's something new!

MLB.com: What's the first thing you want to do this offseason?
Wells: Golf is right up there. Wake up on a Sunday and do nothing but watch football with my buddies and play cards and just relax and not have anywhere to go.
I agree Randy, that does sound nice. So, you may be wondering, does he actually do baseball stuff?
MLB.com: This offseason, when do you start your workouts?
Wells: I'll take some time off and do things a little differently this year. I'll start playing light catch through the offseason. Nothing extravagant or anything. I'll do my weights and keep my range of motion. I'll start thinking about it pretty early. I probably won't get cranked up until mid January. By Jan. 1, I'll start throwing.
I want three months off, too. Next, we discover that Randy envies Lou's spontaneity and he's not a foodie.

Wells: I'd want to throw a base. I'd get kicked out of a game and throw stuff all over the place.
