Want to Rap with Rhymefest? Enter This Contest

Lil' Wayne and Drake are the current cameo kings, but who's to say local MCs with skills can't join the fun?

If you have lyrics to go, enter a competition that could give you an opportunity to rhyme alongside Rhymefest, one of my personal faves and former RedEye cover king.

All you have to do is download the instrumental for "Give It To Me," from the Ruby Hornet blog, record a verse and submit it. This isn't some track that will be buried in the back of the album either, according to my Ruby buddy, apparently it's really good, produced by a platinum producer, Scram Jones, and also will feature Saigon.

Details and a rather amusing video address from Rhymefest are all right here on Ruby Hornet.  If you're an artist, get busy entering, or spread the word to deserving MCs.

ReTweet it (with the handy dandy button on this post) and get the word out.

Good luck!
