Can you imagine being a Bears fan living in Colorado?

"Oh the Broncos fans. You're all being educated by the daily crap I have to deal with around here...Class acts. Never has bitterness and absolute denial been more evident."

That's from Matt Clapp, a Chicago sports fan living in Colorado and also the author of the fabulous Cubs blog <a href="http://www.thefriendlyblogfines.com/">The Friendly Blogfines</a> and <a href="http://www.sharapovasthigh.com/">Sharapova's Thigh</a>. He said that about this story he sent us from the <a href="http://blogs.denverpost.com/broncos/2009/08/29/some-angry-bronco-fans-prep-for-jay-day/">Denver Post</a>. Let's start with the photo:<br /><br /><span class="mt-enclosure mt-enclosure-image" style="display: inline;"><div class="pkg has-caption embedded-image none" style="width: 490px;"><a rel="lightbox" href="http://www.chicagonow.com/blogs/jay-cutler-superstar/The%20Cutler%20Flush.jpg" title="The Cutler Flush.jpg"><img style="width: 490px; height: 367px;" alt="The Cutler Flush.jpg" src="http://www.chicagonow.com/blogs/jay-cutler-superstar/The%20Cutler%20Flush.jpg" class="mt-image-none" height="367" width="490" /></a><p class="caption">http://blogs.denverpost.com/broncos/</p></div></span>

And here is why they were continuing the destruction of Cutler Bronco jerseys. Although I still don't understand why the ladies in the pic were still wearing Cutler jerseys. <br /><br /><blockquote>A bar-full of die-hard Broncos fans gathered Saturday afternoon to
destroy Jay Cutler jerseys -- jerseys they had spent money on and
proudly worn in years past.<br /><br /><p>The folks at Wrigley's Chicago Bar in Golden (yes, ironically the
event was held at a Chicago-fan bar) couldn't get a permit to burn the
jerseys, but they set up an orange-and-blue toilet for flushing jerseys
away, a can of tar to tar-and-feather the jerseys and other tools (a
giant sander, a weed whacker) in order to destroy the No. 6 jerseys.</p><p>"We're tired of all the spoiled brat, punk sports figures," said
Jamison Coomes, who sold anti-Cutler T-shirts and stickers at the
event. "Brandon's the next one."</p><p>Marti Silburn was the first to destroy a jersey, by flushing it.
Silburn, who along with her husband is a season ticket holder, said she
didn't like the way Cutler handled his exit from Denver. Silburn is a
teacher, and she said Cutler -- and now Marshall -- have set terrible
examples of how to behave.</p><p>"That's why there is such anger," Silburn said. "Stop acting like a spoiled brat."</p></blockquote>

<p>Maybe they should destroy some Josh McDaniels Belcihick-like hoodies. After all, he was complicit in this whole affair. Cutler's still a Bronco if he McDaniels had a clue on how to handle the team's most important player. <br /></p>
