In my second business, I was kicked out of it by my two partners.

 

I sold my third business...paid back the bank the $1.3M I owed them and got my wife back the same time.

I have hired hundreds of people and unfortunately, I have had to fire some of them.

And most importantly, business is mostly about people. It's a small business world. You need to be fair to the people on your way up, because you might just meet the same people on the way down.

Barry is a nationally recognized expert on entrepreneurship and small business who has given hundreds of presentations to audiences ranging from 20 to 20,000.  As a member of the Entrepreneurship Hall of Fame, he also has taught entrepreneurship as an adjunct professor at the Illinois Institute of Technology.
